Mobile App temporarily unavailable

A statement from SirsiDynix regarding your library’s mobile app:

SirsiDynix is the owner of your library’s mobile application. However, another vendor controls the access of the app. Unfortunately, they have unexpectedly disabled the app, rendering it inoperable.

As an immediate solution, we are working with your library to enable mobile searching of the catalog via the library’s website.  This allows many of the core search features of the mobile app to be available on your mobile devices. You can use the URL below to access this capability:

https://pclc.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/mobilepclc/

We have also been aggressively developing an entirely new, next-generation mobile app for your library. While it is not yet available for general use, we anticipate it will be ready in the next few months. This app will deliver the functionality you enjoyed in the original app, along with many new features.

We regret any inconvenience this has caused you. Please know that your library had absolutely no way of anticipating this situation, and we hope you’ll be understanding as we work through this difficult, interim period.

Love Your Library!

We've put together a short video of all the ways Polk County Library Cooperative member libraries are here to serve you!  We hope you enjoy it and are taking advantage of all of these services!  Click here for the video.

PLUS - Polk Library User for Students Accounts!

The Polk County Library Cooperative is delighted to partner with the Polk County Public Schools, the Lake Wales Charter Schools, Berkley Accelerated Middle Charter School, Cypress Junction Montessori Charter School, and the Polk Pre-Collegiate Academy  for PLUS accounts!  Through this partnership, PCPS and named Charter School students are able to use their 10 digit Student ID number as their PLUS barcode to access and checkout public library resources!  For more information, click here!

Forgot to drop off or renew your library items? We've got you covered with automatic renewals!   Here's how it works:

  • Any physical library item eligible for renewal will now auto-renew one (1) day before its due date. The new due date will be based on the date of renewal and the loan period for that item (ex. a book due January 3rd would be renewed on January 2nd and have a new due date of January 16th).
  •
  • Users with email library notices will receive a courtesy notice to let them know the item(s) has successfully renewed. If an item does not auto-renew, users with SMS text or email library notices will receive a courtesy notice that the item did not renew and is due the next day. **NOTE: At this time, there is no phone message system for auto-renewal notifications.**

All library cardholders are already signed up for automatic renewals. For more information, visit or contact your local public library.
