Description
The Financial Literacy Grant Program is intended to provide operational funding to financial literacy educational programs. Such programs will assist people in becoming better-informed and less likely to become victims of fraud, predatory lending, or other financial situations. Improving financial readiness is a foundation for a full societal recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nebraska Department of Economic Development has designed the Financial Literacy Program to be extended to postsecondary institutions located in a qualified census tract in a city of the metropolitan class to provide a financial literacy program for individuals residing in qualified census tracts.
