Sponsorship Benefits

Is your district, organization or business interested in helping conservation districts across the country launch innovative conservation projects? Become a sponsor of Friends of NACD! Your donation will go directly towards supporting the Friends of NACD District Grants Program.

The Friends of NACD District Grants Program is an annual, competitive program that provides small grants—up to $2,500 each—to conservation districts nationwide to implement projects to address natural resource concerns in their communities and strengthen district capacity, outreach and partnerships. Since 2020, the program has awarded $20,000 in grant funding to eight districts. NACD administers and manages the Friends of NACD Grant Program, making sponsorship an ideal arrangement for those who want to make an investment in conservation, but don’t have the time or resources to establish and manage a grant program on their own.

Demand for these opportunities is high, and NACD needs your help growing the amount of funding we can invest in districts each year. Sponsors receive a variety of benefits explained in the levels below, including acknowledgement in NACD’s annual report and various promotional materials, complimentary meeting registration and more.

Gold Sponsorship ($10,000)

• One free registration to NACD annual meeting for a staff member of partner organization
• Acknowledgement as a sponsor on annual report of Friends District Grant Successes
• Recognition of sponsorship in various promotional materials for 2022 grants, including website and social media
• During annual meeting session highlighting District Grant recipient(s), ability to showcase organization banner, sign, or other small-scale display in recognition of sponsorship
• Avenues for participating in the selection of the grant recipients, to be determined as the selection criteria are further defined
• Additional benefits may be added to coincide with NACD’s 2022 Program

Silver Sponsorship ($5,000)

• Acknowledgement as a partner on annual report of Friends District Grant Successes
• Recognition of sponsorship in various promotional materials for 2022 grants, including website and social media

Bronze Sponsorship ($2,500)
