MGC Contractors is seeking competitive proposals from general contractors and subcontractors for the El Paso Water – Fred Hervey WRP Headworks, Filter, Odor Control, Clarifier, and Ozone Improvements – Project Procurement Package 1.1 – Odor Control, Headworks, Lime Reactor Clarifier, and Gates Improvements:

Work to be completed under this contract will include all items required by the 90% contract documents provided herein, including General Conditions, Bond, Insurance, Site Supervision, Safety Measures, Site Preparation, etc. as well as, all equipment, labor, and materials to complete the following scopes of work:

Work to be completed under this contract will include all equipment, labor, and materials to re -route existing 24” RS pipeline, removal of existing equipment to be replaced. Headworks improvements to optimize plant process operations and minimize solids settlement. This work includes but it is not limited to a new odor control system (& site preparations), inlet box modifications, aluminum plating rehab, newbar screens and grit dewatering system, installation of new lime reactor/recarbonation clarifier and all associated appurtenances, concrete coatings/repairs should be included as per section 09 96 01; successful contractor will be responsible for start-up of all equipment. Startup will be coordinated with electrical contractor, owner, engineer, and CMAR. Replacement of existing aged process control gates and associated appurtenances. Bypass pumping as necessary to complete the scope of work above.
