Solid Waste - Senior Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and five (5) years of solid waste management experience in collection of debris with three (3) of the five (5) years in a supervisory capacity; or high school graduate with nine (9) years' experience in the collection of debris with five
(5) years in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must possess and maintain a valid driver license as a condition of continued employment. Commercial Driving License preferred. Working experience in communicating personnel policies and labor contract memorandums preferred.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County withing six (6) months from the date of employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
