Statement on Proposed Changes to Connecticut Avenue Safety Plan
I share many residents’ disappointment with DDOT's decision to exclude bike lanes from the current proposed.

DC Water issues a boil water advisory for some customers in NW. We advise customers to not drink or cook with their water without first boiling it for one minute. The earliest the advisory will be lifted is Friday May 10. Visit http://dcwater.com/advisory for info & map of impact.

Bike to Work Day may be around the corner (May 17!) but first up, I hopped into some rides for #BikeandRolltoSchoolDay in #Ward3. This was the 13th annual event nationwide, encouraging bike safety, Safe Routes to School, and actions for a better environment.

.@dcwater reports a water outage in the 5400-5500 blocks of 41st Street NW, between Legation and McKinley streets NW, due to repairs on a 20-inch water main.

The estimated restoration time is 8-10 hours. Affected customers can contact DC Water at 202-612-3400.
