BEST Friends Spring 2021 Program
Angeleno Wine Co.
4:00 PM PDT, Thursday, May 6, 2021
Meet Jasper Dickson and Amy Luftig Viste of Angeleno Wine Co., the first winery to open in Los Angeles since Prohibition.
As wine historian and Emeritus Professor of English Thomas Pinney put it, "The most striking fact about the history of winemaking in Los Angeles, city and county, is the completeness with which it has been forgotten."

Since launching their social-media-driven Kickstarter campaign in 2018, Angeleno Wine Co. has worked to educate its audience about the beauty and balance of locally grown grape varieties, its use of traditional and modern technologies, and a forgotten part of Los Angeles history through their wines. Join Amy Luftig Viste and Jasper Dickson, the co-owners of Angeleno Wine Co., in this presentation about their 21st-century winemaking and business practices.

Please use this EventBrite link to register for the May 6th Zoom event.
EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION
Amy and Jasper will include a discussion of their wines, and attendees might find trying their products useful in understanding the outcomes of their decisions. If the three bottle option is chosen and the customers live within 15 miles of downtown LA, delivery is free.
