Family Nature Club: Bird Bash

Michigan families with school-age children who are Blind or Visually Impaired are encouraged to join the Family Nature Club: Bird Bash in March. Families will be mailed a variety of activities the week of March 8 to be completed at home. After completing the activities, families are invited to join Camp T staff and other families for an interactive online event on Saturday, March 20. 

Participants will:

  • Have fun with their families while completing bird-themed activities, including a craft, an outdoor activity, and a challenge involving science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) 
  • Work on independent living skills while making a tasty treat 
  • Meet up with other families to share their “bird bash” experience

Dates and Times:

Online Event: March 20, 2021
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Packets will be mailed out the week of March 8, 2021

Cost:

$5 per family

Location: 

Online via Zoom
