Overview

1. As someone who's always struggled with procrastination and time management myself, I see ClockIn! as the perfect stepping stone for people to start developing better time management skills, in order to combat unneeded stress and anxiety wherever possible. Rather than typical calendars, ClockIn! only has users focus in on the immediate future (today and tomorrow), making sure that users are not overwhelmed, and can take the process of making schedules, plans, and better time management step by step, day by day. Over time, this habit of building schedules and trying to stick by them will serve as a healthy habit that one will cherish.

2. The issue of stress and is growing prevalent around the world (and especially within the country) by the day. Reports by the American Psychological Association indicate roughly two-thirds of adults see the uncertain future as a significant source of stress, with my own generation, Gen Z, sharing the nearly the same sentiment. If not mitigated, stress leads to terrible impacts on productivity and joy in our lives. While ClockIn! in no way solves it, it'll be able to provide a guide for users to build healthy, stress-reducing habits through better time management.

3. In my junior year of high school, I've dealt with many stresses, and after many times of reflecting upon my workflow, and what I can do to reduce it, I've always come to the same conclusion: I'm terrible at time management. Whether it's procrastination, putting things to the last minute, or trying to make things on the spot, I've realized I've created so much unnecessary stress, and it led me to the idea of ClockIn!, because it could be an app and solution that I myself would be able to see the benefits of.
