Overview

Pacific is a simple and use friendly app created to help teenagers and young adults sleep better. The user can chose from journaling, breathing exercises and nature sounds to listen to as they fall asleep. Journaling can help the user to process emotions, solve problems and get their thoughts out of their head. The stress of the day can send our minds into overdrive at night. Thus, the breathing exercises helps the users reduce their stress levels. The choice of the nature sounds can stimulate the user's ability to drift off quickly. Pacific is designed to help the user prioritize their sleep and achieve better sleep quality. Poor sleep is a common difficult issue for teenagers and young adults worldwide. Racing thoughts, lifestyle changes and technology has contributed to increased sleep problems. Sleep deprivation can cause fairly serious mental and physical health problems. This inspired me to create pacific which helps overcome sleep problems in young adults.
