Construction of a mental health facility for young people accelerates

COLLEGE HILL, Ohio (WKRC) - Construction has accelerated on a close to $100 million expansion at Children's Hospital's Mental Health facility in College Hill.

A special beam signing ceremony on Wednesday allowed hospital employees and other people tied to the facility to sign a beam that will be integrated into the new building.

Children's Hospital is constructing the five-story addition to deal with unprecedented levels of mental illness among young people.
