Full Notification

On July 19th, at approximately 9:03 pm, Morgan Hill Police were dispatched to the intersection of Monterey Road and Spring Avenue on a report of a person down in the roadway.  Upon arrival, patrol officers located a 33-year-old male victim from Morgan Hill in the roadway who had succumbed to a gunshot wound. 
 
During the investigation, it was determined the victim was walking south on Monterey Road when unknown suspect(s) approached him.  During the interaction with the suspect(s), the victim was shot and the suspect(s) fled the area.  Detectives believe this was an isolated incident and encourage anyone with information to contact Detective Adrian Sapien at (669) 253-4995 or our anonymous tip-line at (408) 947-STOP.
 
The identity of the male victim is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
