The Wrightwood Arts Center (WAC) and community organizers are excited to announce the second annual Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival to be held on Saturday, May 20th. The Festival exemplifies the Arts Center’s commitment to make Wrightwood a destination for dynamic engagement with the arts in Southern California. This one-day, juried event will feature a wide variety of visual, culinary, literary, musical, textile, and performing arts, along with wine-tasting presented by regional wineries, and capped off with a poetry slam in the evening.
Wine Tasting
This year’s wine tasting tickets are now available for pre-order! The selection includes five carefully curated wines. Tastings include a a commemorative wine glass and festival bag full of gifts. Order tickets for the full tasting or a single glass.
Music Stage
The festival includes a full music stage with four performances in folk, blues, and jazz, featuring Gina Graham, Kiki Ebsen’s Joni Mitchell Project, and more! Pre-order tickets to access the music area here.
Poetry Slam
The always-popular Wrightwood Poetry Slam returns featuring International Slam Champion Joaquin Zihuatanejo. Last year’s winner, Alex Clark, will look to defend his title against a more than a dozen competitors. Learn more about Joaquin here.
Author Booth
The all-new author’s booth features ten talented writers share and signing their books, across a wide range of genres and subjects. Find the more information, including the author schedule here.
Children’s Area
Organized by the local non-profit Drawing Together, the children’s area features a variety of activities for kids and adults of all ages, including face painting by local artist Chelsea Brummet, student art from Snowline JUSD, and a scavenger hunt at the Friends of the Library info booth. Drawing Together will feature artwork from four LA-based artists from their recent Visitors project presented at Wrightwood and Phelan Elementary schools, as well as a drawing exchange activity for all ages.
