While Emergency Medical Service providers have specific resources to respond to daily emergencies, it is expected that CERT team members and others who must take action after natural disasters and other unusual situations will have to render assistance and conduct life-saving interventions without commercially available resources and supplies. This presentation will illustrate examples of, and provide hands-on opportunities to learn about improvised techniques for effective life-saving interventions and patient stabilization.
