Keeping it Local

We know that so much has changed for you and your families, and for the community, over these past few months. But we want you to know that in Montgomery County we are Keeping it Local and Keeping it Safe. While current circumstances might be forcing us to stand apart, ABS and our partners are pulling together to support local restaurants, bars, beer and wine shops, distilleries, wineries, breweries and everyone else that produces or proudly serves Maryland Made products.

Did you know?

  • When you buy from Maryland spirits, wine and beer manufacturers, six times more revenue stays right here in Maryland.
  • Maryland’s agriculture industry supports close to 74,000 jobs and brings a total economic impact of over $20 billion annually to the state’s economy.
  • The Moco Eats guide helps you find pick-up, delivery and outdoor dining options for our over 800 local restaurants.
  • Eleven breweries, six wineries and one distillery calls Montgomery County home.
  • The Safety Alliance team is going door to door to help businesses reopen and stay open by sharing guidance, tools and resources. Over 200 businesses have already been visited.

Listen to these three partners share how they are Keeping it Local and Keeping it Safe.
