NEW CONSTRUCTION AND/OR REHABILITATION OF EXISTING AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOUSING
The Baltimore City Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) is making up to $7,000,000 available from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support new construction of affordable rental housing and/ or rehabilitation of existing rental projects for affordable housing. Qualified applicants can request up to up to $1,000,000. See link to the NOFA guidelines below. The NOFA application portal opened on 2/2/2024. Applications are due by 4:00 PM EST on 3/18/2024 via the Neighborly application portal.

Community Land Trust - Homeownership NOFA
The Baltimore City Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) is making up to $4.0 million available from its Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support homeownership projects sponsored by Community Land Trusts (CLTs). Qualified applicants can request up to $1,000,000.00 per project. Application submissions will be accepted on a "rolling" basis through June 30, 2024. Notification of awards will be issued within 90 days of application submission. DHCD will host a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference for this NOFA on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 5pm -6:30pm.

New Construction/Preservation of Existing Rental Housing NOFA - Round Four
The Department of Housing & Community Development made up to $10,750,000 million available from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support new construction of affordable rental housing and/or rehabilitation of existing rental projects for affordable housing, including $2 million in set asides for Community Land Trusts and emerging developers. The Department is seeking projects that are impactful and that will leverage additional investment. The application period for this NOFA closed on March 17, 2023. Community Land Trusts - Homeownership & Rental NOFAs
