Missouri River Masterpiece Autumn Adventure Registration required (adults only) Many of us drive over the Missouri River daily without giving it a second thought. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to join in on an exploration of Missouri’s most magnificent natural and cultural resource in a canoe or kayak? Join us to celebrate this incredible masterpiece in our own backyard! FLOAT: MDC will provide canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD’s. This float embarks on an 8-mile float from Platte Landing Access in Parkville, MO. to Kaw Point Access in Kansas City, MO. As the sun lowers in the sky, the Missouri River will take your breath away at sunset! Please dress for the weather and bring water and sunscreen and a good flashlight.
