Industry Import Monitoring and Analysis

Aluminum

Aluminum Feature

Today ITA has released its newly updated Aluminum Country of Smelt Dashboard which now incorporates the full primary aluminum value chain. This dashboard provides never-before-seen supply chain information that identifies the two countries with the largest volume of primary aluminum used in imported aluminum products.

This new monitor reflects the continued development of ITA’s Aluminum Import Monitoring (AIM) system. Data collected from import licenses provide the public and domestic industry with early warning data for their own interpretation regarding changing trends in aluminum imports impacting their specific markets, particularly import surges and supply chain shifts.
