Home and Community Based Services Waiver

Comprehensive Home and Community-Based Services (1915-c HCBS) Waiver The Home and Community-Based Services Waiver is the Medicaid program that provides services for adults and children with developmental disabilities in their own home and community.

The OPWDD 1915 (c) Comprehensive Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waiver is due for renewal on October 1, 2024, for a five-year period through September 2029. OPWDD has scheduled a public comment period for this waiver renewal from January 24, 2024 to February 26, 2024.
