Safety tool moving to HERO platform

CARE allows managers to talk to employees about safety-related matters and provide them with coaching, training and more.

The Postal Service’s Counseling At Risk Employees (CARE) tracking tool currently located on the Safety Dashboard will move to the HERO platform, beginning April 1.

CARE allows managers to talk to employees about safety-related matters and provide them with coaching, training and information to identify and report potential hazards. The tool helps the organization to ensure that safety remains a top priority.

Relocating CARE to HERO will provide access to facility, district and area CARE status reports that can be printed, if necessary. Employee feedback and progress with participation action plans can also be tracked.

Training on navigating CARE in HERO will be available to district, area and field operations staff.

The CARE tracking tool will be located on HERO’s landing page.
