USPS recognizes veterans’ service

To mark Veterans Day, USPS will offer employees who are veterans a special certificate and a badge and badge clip.

This Veterans Day, the Postal Service will honor employees who have served in the armed forces with a special badge and badge clip.

The retractable clip reads “USPS Veterans Proudly Serving America,” while the badge features a message of thanks from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy. Additionally, each employee who is a veteran will receive a certificate of appreciation signed by DeJoy.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Postal Service will mail these items to employees’ home addresses this month instead of presenting them during local Veterans Day ceremonies.

USPS will offer a virtual Veterans Day ceremony that can be viewed on Blue and LiteBlue, beginning Nov. 5.
