Mt. Cuba Center

Travel by van to Mt. Cuba Center, a beautiful botanic garden committed to the conservation of native plants and their habitats located near Wilmington, Delaware. Mt. Cuba Center is home to more than 1,000 species of native plants, many of which are threatened by extinction. We’ll walk some of the two-plus miles of trails which meander through fields and forests, sometimes over uneven terrain and moderately steep hills, as well as explore the more formal gardens. Bring a bagged lunch, water, comfortable shoes, binoculars, and sunscreen. Also bring money for quick supper stop on the way home. FOBH $58
