Each month or weekend we offer a special theme for displays, self guided hikes, and activities free for drop in visitors as well as programs that need preregistration connected to the the theme month.

Claws, jaws, scales and slime… Are you afraid of creatures that come out at nighttime? Critters like bats, owls, snakes, and insects may seem scary, but appearances can be deceiving! Nocturnal animals have cool adaptations that allow them to master the darkness. Join us for one spooktacular weekend as we celebrate these “superheroes” of the night through displays, activities, and specialty programming. Please Note: Creepy Critter programs require separate registration.
