The Puerto Rico Grid Resilience and Transition to 100% Renewable Energy (PR100) study webinar was held on January 23, 2023, from 12:00–1:15 p.m. AST (11:00 a.m.–12:15 p.m. EST) to provide an update on progress made during the first year of this two-year, stakeholder-informed study. The webinar featured remarks from Energy Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell, and Puerto Rico Governor Pedro Pierluisi.

The PR100 Study, led by the Department of Energy’s Grid Deployment Office and supported by FEMA, is generating stakeholder-driven pathways for Puerto Rico to meet its commitment to support its energy needs with 100% renewable energy by 2050.
