Course 102 is the second of two Property Tax Education Coalition, Inc. (PTEC) Courses designed to introduce students to the elements of the Texas Property Tax System. This course will cover topics related to the appraisal process of the property tax system in Texas including property and value concepts, general data in the appraisal process, approaches to value and land identification and maps. Additionally, students will learn math for appraisers.
This course is taught over a 2.5 day period with a review and exam. 20 TACA CE hours will be awarded for completion of this course. Courses with a TDLR approved speaker will be awarded 15 TDLR CE hours.
Course 101 is the companion course to 102 and may be taken in conjunction with 102, but is a separate course registration.
