Join the Howard County Health Department in partnership with the Howard County Office of Transportation and Maryland Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office for an interactive live webinar. Learn the health benefits of being physically active, pedestrian safety tips while exercising, and how the Complete Streets program will help promote physical activity for Howard County residents. Best of all, you don’t even have to leave your home!

Walktober 2021 is a celebration of our State’s official exercise and a call to action to promote walking for physical activity and improved health for residents of all ages and abilities. Join the Howard County Local Health Improvement Coalition (HCLHIC) and local partners for a webinar series called, Walktober: Walk, Roll, Ride, Move! The webinars are tailored to promote physical exercise with the diverse age and ability levels of our community in mind.
