We the undersigned residents of Alabama respectfully urge the Alabama Legislature to identify and authorize funding for public transportation systems throughout the state. Better public transit will improve the economy and overall quality of life in urban, suburban, and rural communities by ensuring all citizens dependable access to employment, education, health care, houses of worship, and quality of life amenities—regardless of age, economic status, and physical condition.
