Geo. Wm. Rueff, Inc. began in 1870, by Mr. George William Rueff Sr. and has been servicing importation needs for 150 years. Mr. Rueff was a vessels chandler who supplied vessels from New Orleans to their return destinations. Mr. Rueff also handled all customs transactions at that time. On March 6, 1917, Geo. Wm. Rueff, Inc. was issued No. 1 Customs-House Broker License from the United States Customs Service at the Port of New Orleans. We have proudly carried on the company’s name and have become a respected company within the Customs House Broker business.
