Monday June 22: Sustainable Agriculture and Food
-- Guest Speaker: Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor
With an opening statement by Mayor Taylor, Monday’s discussion will cover various aspects of our food system, including invasive species, food waste, and the industrial farming system.


Tuesday June 23: Systemic Change and Environmental Justice
-- Guest Speaker: Missy Stults and Galen Hardy
-- Panelists: Sunrise, Environmental Council, Climate Action Movement
To reach a just and sustainable future, we will need to change the oppressive systems that create racist, environmentally-degrading policies. Join us Tuesday to discuss environmental justice, clean energy, and ways you can personally get involved in the transition to a better future.


Wednesday June 24: Circular Economy and Waste
-- Guest Speaker: Jenny Petoskey
Waste from our daily lives is building up in landfills, recycling centers, and the ocean. Wednesday, we will discuss ways to reduce physical, water, and energy waste and enter a circular economy through ethical shopping, upcycling, and general practices. An optional meeting with the Mayor and Germany will be after, from 2-3pm!

Thursday June 25: Local Ecosystems
-- Guest Speaker: Coert Ambrosino from the Freeman Environmental Education Center, and an AAPS Environmental Education Teacher
-- Panelists: Huron Green Team, Pioneer Sustainability Club, Community Ecology Club
How much do you know about southeast Michigan’s environment? Thursday will be dedicated to an exploration of local invasive species, pollutants, and our environment.

Friday June 26: Systemic Change in Local Policy
-- Guest Speaker, Regina Strong
-- Panelists: Ann Arbor Council Members
Do you want to talk to local policymakers, have your ideas heard, and get involved in equitable sustainability in our community? Friday will feature a discussion with several Council Members and talks from local policymakers.
