Airborne remote sensing is an important tool for monitoring tree mortality, but we lack a comprehensive global overview on where and what remote sensing data is available. This survey seeks to fill this gap by assembling metadata on existing airborne remote sensing data.
IMPORTANT: If you have several datasets, please take the time to fill out one survey for each data set. The survey takes less than 5 minutes!
This survey will be the basis for further working group discussions. By taking part on the survey you will be given the opportunity to contribute to further discussion and peer-reviewed publication. Note that this is envisaged as a community activity, it does not seek to collect raw data.
Who are we? We are the International Tree Mortality Network, an initiative of the IUFRO Task Force on monitoring tree mortality created to promote collaboration between scientists to allow for a global assessment of tree mortality, providing crucial information for forest managers and policy making.
