Chapter advisers are key in identifying qualified evaluators, room consultants, and event volunteers. Because Career Development Events operate on a limited budget, unpaid volunteers are essential. Chapters are responsible for providing one evaluator and/or room consultant for every three event participants. Refer to the Competitive Events Manual for evaluator's and room consultants' specific duties.

Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference Career Development Events competition

All scoring will take place through Judge Pro (our online scoring system). Each evaluator will need to bring their own FULLY CHARGED electronic device, preferably a laptop, tablet, or Chromebook. Electronic devices will not be supplied by Ohio FCCLA. Ohio FCCLA will provide Wi-Fi.
Advisers and adult guests who register through the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference Registration system will select the Career Development Events they wish to evaluate.
Career Development Events evaluators not registered for the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference will need to fill out this form by Thursday, April 11, 2024. A confirmation email will be sent to each registered evaluator with the exact Career Development Events evaluation, event specification sheet, and time after Thursday, April 11, 2024. Any Career Development Events Evaluator who would like to attend the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference should register through the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference Registration system or pay the day of the event.
