Presidential Character and Decision Making Virtual Teacher Conference Registration

Presidential Character and Decision Making is a three-day online workshop for teachers focused on how a variety of Presidents have made crucial decisions and put their character to the test. Each occupant of the office—the first president to the 46th—has contributed to the story of the nation through the decisions he made and the actions he took as the nation's chief executive.

By examining presidential history through the lens of decision making, Presidential Character and Decision Making offers a fresh viewpoint on how individual presidents have shaped their administrations in times of crisis.

Presenters from presidential libraries and presidential historic sites will each share how each president made crucial decisions and how their own personal character influenced them. Teaching activities will be shared throughout the week and in the virtual environment there will be a number of interactive sessions for teachers to
learn from.

Teachers will learn from and interact with presenters from the following  presidential museums and libraries: Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, Teddy Roosevelt Center, Hoover Presidential Library, F.D. Roosevelt Library, Truman Library, Eisenhower Library, LBJ Library, Nixon Library,  Carter Library,  Clinton Library, George H.W. Bush Library.
