    Daniel Cronk

    Senior Director of Market Research & Insights, Visit Orlando

    Daryl Cronk is the Senior Director of Market Research & Insights at Visit Orlando. Daryl overseas all functions of Visit Orlando’s research department including primary and secondary research programs, internal performance measurements, and strategic planning. Daryl also oversees the Business Affairs team that manages department budgets and evaluates return on investment. Daryl has been with Visit Orlando since 1999. Prior to moving to Orlando, Daryl was an Economist in the Statistics of Income Division of the US Treasury Department in Washington DC. He also spent 5 years as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the Orlando campus of Nova Southeastern University. Daryl has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from James Madison University in Virginia, and a Masters of Arts in Applied Economics from the University of Central Florida.

    Lisa Dilts

    Principal, Compspring

    Lisa is a Principal and a founder of Compspring, an independent real estate advisory firm. She started her career with Ernst and Young’s Commercial Real Estate Services Group, where her primary focus was valuation of commercial properties and site selection for industrial and government users. She also worked for Beazer Homes as a Strategic Market Analyst, where she advised on land acquisitions, target market audiences, repositioning of existing communities, and expansion strategies. Prior to founding Compspring, Lisa was a Vice President with RCLCO, a national real estate advisory company. Lisa holds a Masters of Real Estate from the University of Florida, where she also earned her Bachelor's of Design from the College of Architecture.

    Cole NeSmith

    Creative City Project

    Cole NeSmith is an experience curator, writer, musician, actor and speaker. He is the Executive Director of the Creative City Project and the co-founder of The Memoir Agency. Through these two companies, Cole works to make every place and moment meaningful through epic events and immersive experiences. Cole is the creator of IMMERSE, an annual performing and interactive arts event in the heart of Downtown Orlando. He started the award-winning Creative City Project in 2012 to elevate Orlando’s creative stature and to help shape the global perception of Orlando as a place known for creativity and innovation. This year, the annual IMMERSE event will platform 1,000 artists for an audience of more than 100,000 guests. Through The Memoir Agency, Cole and his team create “Immersive Master Plans,” helping cities and developers build irresistible places to live, work, and visit. Through artistic activations, Cole helps municipal leaders design cities that bring meaning to people’s lives everyday. Cole is actively involved in cultural transformation through his leadership in initiatives like Project DTO — imagining the next ten years of growth for Downtown Orlando — and as the Creative Director of “Beautiful Together” — an artistic response to the Pulse tragedy in June of 2016. He has been named one of Orlando Magazine's “50 Most Powerful People in Orlando” and the Orlando Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.” He is also a regular contributor to the Orlando Sentinel’s “Central Florida 100." As an artist, Cole has appeared in professional theater, works of classical and contemporary music, film and TV. He is the author of two books.

    Casandra Matej

    President & CEO, Visit Orlando

    Casandra Matej is the president and CEO of Visit Orlando, The Official Tourism Association® for Orlando, the most visited destination in the United States and Theme Park Capital of the World®. She is responsible for leading the branding, marketing and selling of the Orlando destination globally to drive Central Florida’s $76 billion tourism industry. Matej holds over two decades of experience in the tourism industry including serving as president and CEO of Visit San Antonio, as well as leadership roles at VisitDallas, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Hyatt Hotels. She has been recognized as a Top 25 Women in the Meetings Industry by Meetings & Conventions Magazine and received the Women in Leadership Award from the San Antonio Business Journal. She serves as a board member of the U.S. Travel Association. Her immediate focus is spurring recovery of the powerful Orlando tourism industry which – in traditional years – draws over 75 million visitors to the region.

    Andy Warren

    Real Estate Research Consultant, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

    Andrew Warren, Andy, currently serves as the PwC’s Director of Real Estate Research. As the Director of Real Estate Research, and is responsible for monitoring all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For the past seven years, Andy has led PwC’s participation in the development and production of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate publication. Andy is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy also forecasts market performance for PwC’s “Real Estate Investor Survey”. Andy has over 30 years of experience in all aspect of commercial and residential real estate research. Andy has performed and managed real estate fundamental analysis and forecasting, portfolio construction, and buy/sell decisions for both debt and equity clients. Prior to assuming his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, a top 10 institutional real estate manager in the U.S. At Principal, Andy held a progressive level of analyst and management positions over his 25 year career and served as a voting and advisory member on a multiple real estate debt and equity investment funds. Andy has earned the CFA designation and is a Counselor of Real Estate. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute Research Forum as well as a participating member of ICSC, NCREIF, NAIOP, the Appraisal Institute and the CCIM institute.     Kristine Smale

    VP of Strategic Growth, Christopher Alan Homes

    Kristine is an experienced Residential and Commercial Real Estate professional. She is a Senior Vice President with Meyers Research and leads consulting projects throughout the Southeast and Florida. Prior to joining Meyers in 2019, Kristine managed projects with another national consulting firm for several years. Kristine also worked for two large home builders providing feasibility guidance for land acquisitions and community development. Her experience in commercial real estate includes asset management, due diligence and acquisitions with a large Real Estate Investment Trust, a 1031 exchange company and a publicly traded apartment REIT. Kristine has a BBA from the University of Iowa with majors in Finance and Marketing and a minor in English. She also earned a certificate in Urban Real Estate from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Kristine is currently the Chair of the ULI Community Housing and Development Council in Florida, as well as a member of the Southwest Florida Executive Committee and former chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative. She is also a member of the RNDC-Gold National Product Council. Kristine serves on the Local Planning Agency for Lee County, Florida, a resident advisory board that works with the Board of County Commissioners.

    Leonard Burke

    Leonard was born and raised in Miami, FL and moved to Tampa in 2001 to attend USF. After graduating in 2005 with his Bachelors of Science in Finance, Leonard was lost and had no clear direction on what he wanted to do with his life. He met few men from Anchor Point Church and started studying the bible, which changed is life completely and gave him a greater purpose to live. Professionally, Leonard Burke has fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate. Leonard is the Director of Asset Management for Beneficial Communities. He is responsible for overseeing its nationwide commercial real estate & multi-family portfolio. Leonard has been recognized as an industry leader and received numerous awards over the years. He was named the top 40 under 40 professional by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, People on the move spotlight, Director's Award by his former employer, Urban Land Institute technical advisory panel recipient and a few more. Of all the professional achievements, Leonard is most known for his charitable work in the community. Leonard actively donates his time and resources in helping at-risk and inner city youth uncover their true worth in life. He mentors several young men, conducts motivation speeches at local Title 1 schools and started a pilot program that helps inner city students learn how to understand and write computer code. He is currently working on a program that will help minority high school students learn about real estate development. He has been married to Dericka Burke for 13 years and have 2 children and loves the Miami Hurricane football team.
