About the Program
Are you a formerly incarcerated individual and looking to apply to college? You’re invited to apply to Rising Scholars: A College Pathway Program for Formerly Incarcerated Individuals. This 3-day college preparation event takes place at Penn State University Park from April 7th to April 10th 2024.

Hotel lodging, food, and transportation to and from State College
What will you experience?
During this event, you will:
- Meet with career counselors
- Learn how to pay for college
- Find what classes and careers might be right for you
- Tour campus, sit in on classes, and meet with faculty
- Open to all formerly incarcerated individuals ages 18+
