What is the UPP

The USGS-PSU Partnership (UPP), established in 2007, is an innovative joint program between the U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) Oregon Water Science Center (ORWSC) and Portland State University (PSU).

The goal of the UPP is to facilitate advancements in water science in Oregon by catalyzing collaborative research, creating opportunities for PSU students to work in tandem with ORWSC staff, and sharing data and resources. The work is interdisciplinary, drawing faculty and students from multiple colleges and departments.

This tool is a contact directory for researchers at the USGS Oregon Water Science Center (ORWSC), USGS Geology, Minerals, Energy and Geophysics Science Center (GMEG) and Portland State University. The purpose of this directory is to connect individuals and facilitate collaborative research between the ORWSC, GMEG and PSU. This tool is managed by the UPP. 2To search for information, use the "Find" feature using Command+F (Mac) or Ctrl+F (PC)

3To sort for information and collaborators, use the "Filter" tool by clicking Filter By Condition>Text Contains>enter keyword(s)>Apply
