TREX Information
Local TREX resources are planning to be ready to burn as burn windows allow beginning October 24th through the Spring of 2023 using the All Hands All Lands model that utilizes on-call regional resources to increase acres treated while providing some training opportunities. If you would like to be on our on-call AHAL list, please list dates that you are available to participate between 10/24/2022 and 3/31/2023.
2022 KTREX will start Monday October 10, 2022 and conclude October 21, 2022. We encourage participants to commit to the two weeks of TREX but there is an option to sign up for one of the two weeks. *

TREX is only possible through the generous donation of equipment and supplies from participants. Engines, hose, extra sets of PPE, bladder bags, and hand tools are a few examples of our equipment needs. Participants who can bring resources and/or equipment may get preference during the selection process and may have their registration fee waived (depending on contribution).
Yes! I can provide some equipment or supplies and I've listed the item(s) I can provide below:
Do you have any skills that you would be interested in sharing with other TREX participants through a presentation, workshop or training?
We are in a fortunate position to not charge a registration fee for this event. Although we are happy to do this it is important for individuals that sign up to act and plan accordingly. Signing up without a firm commitment to participating or suggesting that you will be here and then not arriving stresses our planning group and takes valuable time away from our work. Please only sign up if you are going to make a real effort to participate.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
