Application for Membership to Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Medicolegal Death Investigation, or Wildlife Forensics Consensus Bodies
Applicants  must select an interest category. Each category is distinctly defined as presented below. ASB strives to achieve balance across the interest categories for representation on each Consensus Body. A Consensus Body is comprised of 7 to 25 individuals striving for no interest category having greater than 33% representation. Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. ASB considers the following when selecting new members to a consensus body:

a) Filling open positions within the Consensus Body;
b) Potential for achieving or maintaining balance of interest categories within the Consensus Body;
c) Extent of interest expressed by the applicant and the applicant’s willingness to participate.

An applicant must submit separate applications for each Consensus Body and/or Interest category.

Prior to filling out this application, please review the ASB Interest Categories to determine what kind of membership (individual or organization) you are applying for. https://www.aafs.org/sites/default/files/media/documents/Interest%20Categories%202023.pdf
