On Thursday March 30th we will be going to the State House in Boston to talk with our elected officials and advocate for Massachusetts to pass the Hunger Free Campus Initiative. 37% of the public university/college students in Massachusetts experience food insecurity, so it is critical we pass this bill this legislative session. The Hunger Free Campus Initiative would fund anti-hunger resources on campus all across the state such as a food pantry, educational resources on SNAP, and/or to provide a single point of contact for all hunger needs on campus.
Please fill out this survey by 3/27/23 if you are able to attend the Hunger Free Campus Lobby Day. These lobby days will have trainings prior to event, so do not worry if you have no prior experience. Contact Brooklyn Darling at 518-522-7392 with questions.
