A producer of cosmetic products, Naturich Labs, is planning to build a manufacturing facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Naturich is based in Garland. Construction of the 125,500-square-foot building at Research Drive and Telecom Parkway in Richardson is scheduled to begin in April. The 9-acre project includes a warehouse, manufacturing areas, and office space.

“Their existing facility is slightly smaller than the proposed facility,” according to a city document. “However, their intent is to construct a new facility to increase their efficiency by utilizing taller ceiling heights and improved production flow. The company is FDA-registered, certified organic manufacturers, and has multiple certifications in their field.”

According to a state filing, the anticipated delivery date is January 1, 2025.

The company manufactures more than a dozen lines, including aromatherapy, spa body care, organic products, ayurvedic, baby care, men’s products, anti-aging cosmeceutical skin care, and “salon-quality” hair-care products. Naturich also offers a private label line for spas and salons.

“The applicant has stated the majority of the water consumed during their manufacturing process goes into the finished products,” the city document reads.

“The remaining water that is not consumed is discharged into the wastewater system. According to the applicant, the measurements of solids in the discharged water (which are natural and biodegradable raw materials) are within the lower limits of allowable levels; therefore, treatment of the discharged water is not required.”

The estimated cost of construction for the Richardson project is $10.5 million, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. Meinhardt and Associates of Dallas is listed as the design firm.
