Harnessing genomic resources for disease resistance and management in cucurbit crops – bringing the tools to the field
The objectives of the CucCAP project are to:
- Develop advanced bioinformatic and genomic tools for cucurbits
- Identify, map, and develop markers for resistances to priority diseases identified by cucurbit industries
- Introduce resistances into advanced breeding lines
- Develop improved integrated disease management for cucurbit crops
