Welcome to the Connecticut Criminal History Request System (CCHRS). This Online Portal may be used to request criminal history record information based on a Name and Date of Birth, and will contain a review of State of Connecticut information ONLY.
Please be advised that the criminal history record information may change daily due to erasures, corrections, pardons, or other modifications to individual criminal history record information. The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP) cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information except with respect to the date the information is disclosed or obtained. Name and Date of Birth searches are subject to degree of uncertainty with the possibility of false negatives and false positives, especially when it involves more common names. DESPP and the State of Connecticut are not responsible for any errors or omissions resulting from the subsequent dissemination of this data. The subject and/or requester assumes all liability in the use of data obtained from this database.
Public Requests - Name and Date of Birth
This is for Connecticut Criminal History Record Requests where the search results will be returned to you as the requestor. This applies to you conducting a search on yourself, or on someone else. You must pay for this request by debit/credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) before the requested search will be processed.
