Join teaching artist Kristi Duckworth for this five week mosaic course. Participants learn basic skills needed to work with the art of mosaics including drawing and coloring a mosaic pattern, cutting the piece out of clay, glazing, adhering mosaic pieces, and grouting.
This 5-week course meets on Fridays from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Bartlett Library on 3.8, 3.15, 3.22, 4.5, and 4.12. Please note there is no class on 3.29. Must attend all five sessions.
Mosaic Garden Tiles is a FREE Studio Course for learners 65+ offered by Creative Aging Memphis in partnership with Memphis Public Libraries. This partnership is supported by ArtsMemphis, H.W. Durham Foundation the Thomas W. Briggs Foundation, the Memphis Library Foundation, Friends of the Memphis Public LIbrary, and Friends of the Bartlett Library.
