Happy Spring!

Spring means five new businesses are entering our program.

We can't wait to tell you all about them in April! Can you guess their cuisines from the above photos?

Save the Date: Spice Bridge Art Night May 3

The Spice Bridge Art night series is coming to an end after an extremely eventful year! March 16, 2023, was the debut of Spice Bridge Arts Night, hosting several local youth poets in the Spice Bridge Food Hall. The event hosted over 50 guests, with free appetizers and $5 off coupons to use at any of the vendor booths. A night filled with poetry about homelands missed, childhoods reminisced, and empowerment in the face of adversity. Since the debut of Art Nights, we have hosted several more with varying themes, including International Women’s Day, International Refugee Day, and have hosted art workshops, jewelry making nights and so much more!

Our final Spice Bridge Art Night for this round of programming will happen on Friday, May 3d. The event will be hosted in honor of National Poetry Month and will be an evening of celebrating poetry in our community. We will have poets from the community, as well as additional guest poets, to come and share their poetry with us. There will be food and drinks provided from the wonderful Spice Bridge vendors, make sure to stop by and support your local poets!

How to help our work

Spice Bridge has been a home to our impactful Food Business Incubator Program, as well as a vibrant cultural hub celebrating diverse food traditions around the world. It provides a pathway for immigrant and refugee chefs to launch successful entrepreneurial careers in the U.S., and empowers our community to be key drivers of the local food economy.

As a community-based program at a non-profit organization, we rely on sustained funding and support from generous donors like you for Spice Bridge to continue flourishing. Donate today and be sure to share our story to people in your networks!

We are thankful to be supported in 2024 by WSMA.

Funding has been provided by the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA) thanks to a grant made by the Washington State Department of Commerce.
