Organizational Change Management
Change is exciting! It is an opportunity to improve how we work, make new connections, and solve problems. However, organizational change can be surprisingly difficult to implement. Research has shown only 30% of change projects are very or moderately successful. Change initiatives that are unsuccessful waste resources and negatively impact employee morale. Fortunately, organizational change management helps ensure projects achieve their intended results and positively impacts employee engagement.
In this 19-minute video, Introduction to Best-run Government (BRG) Organizational Change Management, you’ll learn how people experience change, what intentional organizational change management is, why it is important, and what organizational change management looks like for King County.
