While the days are short, bring some brightness with words and acts of appreciation and gratitude. As this year is coming to a close and we prepare for a new one, be sure that you reflect with your teams all the amazing things they made possible. While performance review time is often when we look back, the biggest positive impact happens when show appreciation all year round by really seeing people. Every employee has contributed in some way to providing critical services to our community. When leaders sincerely thank employees, the research finds that employees feel respected and valued – and truly feel capable of bringing their best. The benefits: increased engagement, improved health/wellbeing, reduced stress and a more positive workplace! Check out this short article on Workplace Appreciation and Gratitude to read more.
