The County’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic is relocating to Prince George’s Community College at the Largo Student Center with vaccinations resuming on Thursday, December 16.
    • Individuals with vaccination appointments at the Wayne K. Curry Sports and Learning Complex from Sunday, December 12 to Wednesday, December 15 will be rescheduled to the new location.
    • Walk-ins are accepted but appointments are encouraged. Please note that walk-ins will not be accepted at the Prince George’s Community College on Thursday, December 16 and Friday, December 17.
  • Based on the latest guidance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the County Health Department is now offering booster shots of the Pfizer vaccine to individuals 16 and older, in addition to the previously approved Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster shots for individuals 18 and older.
    • Individuals ages 16 and older are eligible to receive a booster shot if they received the Pfizer vaccine at least six months ago. Individuals ages 18 and older are eligible to receive a booster shot if they received the Moderna vaccine at least six months ago or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago.
    • The FDA and the CDC allow for mix and match dosing for booster shots. Eligible individuals who prefer a vaccine brand may choose which one they receive as a booster dose, regardless of the brand they previously received.
