Boards, Commissions & Committees

The County of San Bernardino has more than 150 Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs) providing advice and feedback to the County Board of Supervisors on diverse topics. Information and application materials are available here.

In addition, members of the County Board of Supervisors are appointed by the Board Chairman to represent the County on a variety of local, regional, statewide and national committees. Follow the link below to see the current appointment roster for these “multi-jurisdictional” committees.

Ethics Training for BCC Members Effective January 1, 2007, state law (Assembly Bill 1234) requires that members of the County’s boards, commissions and committees complete ethics training within one year of appointment, and every two years thereafter. 2024 List of Local Appointments       The Local Appointments List concerns all regular and ongoing Boards, Commissions or Committees (BCCs) to which members are appointed by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. This report identifies those BCCs and includes member terms that are scheduled to expire during calendar year 2024. The Local Appointments List is arranged according to Supervisorial District.
