HOW TO MAKE LEGO EASTER EGGS
I made a sample for my son one evening after bedtime hoping he would want to make more, and he did. My model served as a valuable tool for him to build independently.
I started with a 2×4 basic LEGO brick and went out by one for the first four rows. The next two rows match the 5th row. Then I went in by one for two rows and then in by one again for the next two rows.
Go in one for another row and then in one more for the last row. Check out the above LEGO eggs for the configuration!
Try adding patterns as you build your LEGO Easter egg or go back and add colors along the way!
LEGO STEM CHALLENGES WITH EGGS
We had to scrounge around for traditional Easter colors, as we are limited in our pastels, but it doesn’t really matter what color your LEGO Easter eggs are!
Go ahead and make some crazy colored or crazy patterned LEGO Easter eggs to display!
- How about a rainbow egg?
- Can you build a dozen LEGO eggs?
- Make mini versions and add them to an egg crate?
Display your Easter eggs made with LEGO bricks in a fun basket. Add some Easter grass if you have some!
I love finding new ways to build with our basic bricks. It just goes to show that you don’t need a huge LEGO collection with specialty pieces to make cool LEGO projects.
