Commercial Harbor Craft Technical Working Group Workshop # 1 Registration Available

Commercial Harbor Craft Regulation The Technical Working Group (TWG) In Resolution 22-6  approving the amendments to the Commercial Harbor Craft (CHC) Regulation on March 24, 2022, CARB’s Board directed staff to form a technical working group to assess the commercial availability of lower-emitting combustion engines and zero-emission technology for harbor craft and report back to the Board by December 31, 2024, and every two years thereafter through December 31, 2032. The TWG welcomes all affected stakeholders including vessel operators, industry associations, environmental and community-based organizations, community members, zero-emission or alternative fuel technology developers, engine and after-treatment manufacturers, academic institutions, government agencies, and members of the public. Regulación de Embarcaciones Comerciales Portuarias Grupo de Trabajo Técnico  En la Resolución 22-6 aprobando las modificaciones al Reglamento de Embarcaciones Portuarias Comerciales (CHC, por sus siglas en inglés) el 24 de marzo de 2022, el consejo de CARB ordenó al personal que formaran un Grupo de Trabajo Técnico (TWG, por sus siglas en inglés) para evaluar la disponibilidad comercial de motores de combustión de bajas emisiones y tecnología de cero emisiones para embarcaciones portuarias e informar al consejo antes del 31 de diciembre de 2024 y cada dos años a partir de entonces hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2032.   The Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR) is the State of California's lead land use planning charting California's future, with a focus on community development, climate resilience, and equity. $9.5M Available for Climate Adaptation Planning Grants – Virtual Workshops and Office Hours  Integrated Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Program staff have made a second round of funding available through the Adaptation Planning Grant. This new platform offers community members, program partners, and members of the public thorough insight into the AB617 Community Air Protection Program (CAPP or Program), featuring intuitive data visualizations, user-friendly mapping tools, interactive dashboards, and more. Assembly Bill 617 (AB 617) aims to reduce exposure to air pollution and preserve public health by placing community voices at the heart of decision making. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) established the Program to work with communities, air districts, and other agencies to reduce exposure in the communities most impacted by air pollution.
