Agassiz Village

Agassiz Village is located on a mile long stretch of the crystal clear waters of Thompson Lake in Poland, Maine, allows campers to experience the outdoors with 400 acres of outdoor beauty, hiking trails, playing fields, and camp sites. Program activities include Sports, swimming, canoeing, boating, ropes course, arts & crafts, hiking, and more.

Crossroads: Camp Wing 

Crossroads residential camp, Camp Wing, offers traditional camp activities while meeting social and emotional needs, and instilling the confidence that helps our youth be successful at home and in school. Camp Wing, located on 200 acres of woodlands in Duxbury, provides a safe and stimulating environment where campers are urged beyond their comfort zones to set and achieve goals, gain new skills through challenges, make positive choices, and develop healthy relationships with their peers and adults.

The Summer Camp

General Camp is a 10-day is a fun and welcoming introduction to camp life, activities, adventures and skills. For most girls, this is their first opportunity to spend time away from home and join a community of peers who, while from different places, share many common life experiences. Counselors guide girls with unconditional acceptance and understanding, as each experiments, explores and builds self-confidence. Summer Campers sleep in rustic cabins with nine girls their age and three counselors. Days are filled canoeing, kayaking, swimming, sailing, dance, land sports, photography, drama, archery, pottery, knitting, sewing, arts and crafts, science explorers and adventure day trips. Evening activities include talent shows, scavenger hunts and dancing. Each bunk group spends a night camping in a tent and roasting marshmallows for s’mores over an open fire.

Wildwood Camp (Mass Audubon) Teen Adventures

Teen Adventure Trips: Wildwood Teen Adventure Trips for campers ages 14–17 focus on developing a love of the outdoors, but each trip takes a unique approach. A wide variety of trip options accommodate many interests and levels of outdoor experience.

Camp Hale

Two-week sessions for youth ages 5-15. (One-week "rookie" sessions available for first-timers) Sessions are gender-specific. Cabins are assigned based on age and experience. Each week has specialized programs, hikes, and challenges. Rookie camp is ideal for first-time campers ages 5-11 years old. This session is combined with core sessions so campers can connect with the full camp community. Most rookies sign up for a full session the following year!

Brantwood Camp

Primary Program Activities: Explore nature and learn skills in campcraft, water safety, and first aid. Teamwork and friendly competition are encouraged every day at Brantwood Camp with an emphasis on cheerfulness and good sportsmanship.

Eligibility for programs

Cambridge Camping provides programs for children and families from under-resourced circumstances in Cambridge and surrounding communities.  Eligibility for enrollment in this program may be determined based on household size and income.  The online enrollment process will ask families to submit documentation to verify household income to be reviewed by Cambridge Camping staff.
